Smile

..

After calling Magga over 20 times for having a shower,
I then stopped talking and made an empty face
that he knew this was serious.
Then he asked " Mom, why you're not smiling?"
I replied with my blank look.
"Could you give me a little smile?"
I gave him a quick pretentious smile.
And then he told me this lovely words.
"Give me the smile that smiling from your heart"
And this couldn't stop me from not smiling anymore.
And he said...That's it!

It's just the matter of time

I wish I could have more than 24 hours for each day.
And for that extra time I gain I would spend for sleeping right away.
This clock could solve this by writing time I want to have.
But I have to move to another planet to make everything comes true.

My favorite song, my favorite Charlotte

I've learned French when I was so young.
But French songs still give me an inspiration.
Charlotte's voice is incredible.
It could relieve my pain, the other thing an alcohol.
I'm trying to find many sources for the translation.
But couldn't find one that I like.
So I pick one line from many that I found.
And put some of mine that I know to mix it up.
Please forgive me for this incorrect English translation.
And please correct me if you know French. I would love to know.

L'UN PART, L'AUTRE RESTE
(English translation)

Did they forget their promises?
For the less of laugh, the less of gesture
Great loves are no longer addressed
When one goes, the other stays

A sin to be young
The past that leaves nothing
Great loves are in despair
When one leaves and the other stays

Stay with yourself
Get old without me
Do not call me any more
Erase me
Tear my letters
And stay there
Tomorrow may be
You'll return

Gestures of love and tenderness
Such two birds in a lot of drunkenness
Great loves are no longer be addressed
When one goes, the other stays

Do they have sorrows from the moment they hurt you?
The shortly after awkwardness
Great loves are in distress
When one leaves and the other stays

The sad farewells
Only illusions
If it's a game
This will be nothing
Give me back my letters
And stay there
Maybe tomorrow
You'll understand

They will not forget their promises
They would be written in the same addresses
Great loves are recognized
When one leaves and the other....remains

Nobody knows (Dare mo shiranai)

I've seen Nobody knows (Dare mo shiranai) once and never again,
eventhough it's my all time favorite.
The first time I saw this I didn't know anything about it,
Kanchit just told me that it was a good one and yes it is...very.
Because it's based on true story so it's just so unbelievable.
I kept thinking about this film since I saw it
and that was about 6 years ago.
Why nobody knows? I keep wondering....why?

Quote: Serge Gainsbourg

Passe l'automne, vienne l'hiver
Et que la chanson de Prévert

Cette chanson "Les feuilles mortes"
S'efface de mon souvenir
Et ce jour là mes amours mortes
En auront fini de mourir.

English translation via loscuadernosdejulia

Oh how much would I love you to remember
This was your song.
It was your favourite, I believe –
The one by Prevert and Kosma.

And every time “Les feuilles mortes”
Reminds me of you.
Day after day the autumn loves
Don’t stop withering.

With others, of course, I abandon myself,
But their song is monotonous.
And little by little I lose interest.
There’s nothing to do about it

For every time “Les feuilles mortes”
Reminds me of you.
Day after day the autumn loves
Don’t stop withering.

Is it ever possible to know where the indifference
Begins or when it ends?
The autumn passes, and the winter comes,
And if only the Prevert’s song would go.

This song, “Les feuilles mortes”,
Washes itself off my memory.
And on that day my autumn loves
Will have stopped withering.
