My new handmade blouse and some thoughts
After reading Jenny (wiksten-made) making herself a blouse
to be the same design as “Sunshine and shadow”.
I decided to try my own version too.
Although there’s a lot of comments whether or not to do this.
I admitted that I couldn’t stop myself from wanting to make this blouse since it looks so easy.
And I convinced myself that it's ok because it’s just a sleeveless blouse like another blouses
but with just a pocket and a round hem like a man shirt.
But I think (again) that it’s not like another blouses
because of these details and this is what we called the “design”.

And then I came out with this conclusion.....
......I made a striped blouse that I used horizontal stripes for the pocket
to be contrast to the vertical stripes of the main part.
At the two corners of the hem I added the tiny pieces of horizontal striped details again.
I wanted to play with patterns not about the silhouette.
I tried to think that I was inspired by Sunshine and shadow blouse
but twisted it into my own version. Hope this help.
Sometimes life is too complicated...don't you think?

My sketch "India"
In 2005 I went to India with my best friend Simone before I got married.
I love to draw pictures along my travel.
It's so peaceful.
I miss those time around,
and wish I could have a chance to travel and start my drawings again.
Taj Mahal, the last place that we have visited for that trip.
We believed that it would give us a feeling
of not wanting to see something else along the trip if we see Taj Mahal first.
We thought we made the right decision.
It's such an amazing place.
We spent the whole day at Taj Mahl
cause with the different lighting it gives us the different feeling.

My first handmade blouse

My first handmade clothing is my sleeveless blouse.
I’ve been wearing this for over 18 years and remake it over and over again.
My grandmother has taught me to do this.
She’s an amazing self-taught artist who is 82 years old now.
This kind of blouse is called “Kor Kra Chauw”
that old people wearing in their everyday life for a long time.
And my grandmother makes her own all the time with the recycle pieces of cloth.
After that blouse I made another similar things and wear them every summer.
My favorite color
